Hummus is a yummy Middle Eastern dip. I like to serve it up with cut up veggies for a treat anyone will like. It contains raw garlic which is an incredibly healthy food because of it's anti-bacterial and anti-viral properties. Garlic also aids liver function. The recipe also contains fresh lemmon juice which benefits bile formation, essential for optimal fat metabolism and it also helps to cleanse the liver. Lemon juice also helps the body in the elimination of waste by helping to keep everything moving!!
1 1/2 cups canned garbanzo beans
1 -2 garlic cloves
1 TBSP raw Tahini
1 tsp. Cumin
1/2 tsp. sea salt
2 TBS cold pressed olive oil
Put all ingredients in the food processor and mix well. Enjoy with sliced cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, sliced daikon radish, carrots and any of your favorite veggies.
